Telling stories is perhaps the world’s oldest pastime, handed down through the generations around campfires, dinner tables, bar stools, gas pumps, barber chairs, grocery aisles, country clubs, VFW halls and water coolers. Through it all, the formula hasn’t really changed much: Find a narrative, provide context and finish strong.
That’s my hope with Oak Park Podcast. It’s not necessarily about my community. Or me. It’s about identifying a compelling arc, that’s nearby and relevant to all who listen. Interesting but not clickbait. A point of view without an agenda. And lots of editing.
